New Lamborghini models will strive to make automotive history, not repeat it, vows the company’s president. Lambo’s brief flirtation with retro design – epitomised by the January 2006 Miura concept – is over, says boss Stephan Winkelmann. ‘The Miura was a celebration of our history, but Lamborghini is about the future.
Ford is holding a contest to get drivers interested in the new Focus ST--as if we weren't already. Ford will have driving simulators at this year's auto shows, and the person who records the fastest time will get a trip to ESPN's summer X Games. Those interested can follow the leaders at Ford's Facebook page, where all of the lap times and info will be posted.
Most of us will never own an ultraluxury car such as a Bentley, but for a slightly lesser price you can still have something built in Crewe. Bentley Motors and its employees from the tooling, woodshop and styling departments have created a range of collector items the will cross the auction block to raise funds for the Prince's Trust charity.
